Please Review FreeBestDeals.com, preparing for $500 contest

Thanks for everyone who initially reviewed my site, freebestdeals.com. The devs have been hard at work and we've made a lot of changes and improved the site immensely.

I appreciate any feedback. The $500 contest is also open, so if you want to submit deals, I will pay you $1 for each deal that meets the contest rules. This way I can test out all functions before announcing it in the deals contest.

You could use the left sidebar to more effect. Very nice site and theme. Good job! 7.5/10!

 

Put Google adsense ads on the left side to maximize impressions.

Thanks for all the feedback. The site was built on a premade template from the Ning.com networks. The template originally had three columns, but the first reviews had comments like:

"Your site seems to be all over the place . . ." and
"I don't know where to click!"

So I stripped it bare and added back just the bare items and colors that I needed. That's why the left column is fairly empty. I will use it to highlight new deals and annoucements. The templates are fairly basic in function, but I hired Amphiltech.com to mod the display and build an input form.

Also, hosting on the Ning network is free - but they run their own adsense ads. You can pay $19/month to be ad-free or run your own ads, which I will do once I start getting traffic on the site.

 

The site looks good at its current form. But if it is possible you can start the "Current Deals" section from the left side(covering up the empty space ) and stretch up to the adsense at right.7/10
