    i think the Link:xxxx in google.com doesnt produce accurate results..

    The google webmaster tools gives a more accurate data..

    Yeah you can also try site:url.xx in yahoo still no index page and backlinks detected by yahoo. simply because I did not do anything in this site...

    Can anyone explain this??

    Pagerank is overrated, but it is useful if you look at is one view of your site. It can let you know that you still have other avenues of SEO to explore, and you can probably increase your traffic by incorporating other techniques.

    PR still one of the most important factors to rank websites in Google, however in your case you was overrated but I just don't get it..! why are you complaining while you should be more than happy ever with a PR of 2 ?

    I suggest you check that site's backlinks in any online tool, because the link: operator only show a sample of backlinks that your site have.

    yahoo explorer shows more accurate back links than google

    well, I would not use everything google in my life.. monopoly is existed because most of the consumers group to be monopolized. So, I do not care much about PageRank.. our success may not depend on PR, but relevant to. Same to google..
