From 0 to 3, a question about my page rank update.

Well, as the title states, I've recently got PR3 on my new blog, which is actually about 1-2 months old, and the real work on him was only done during the first month.

    So from 0, I went to PR3.

Some people were shocked to hear it, especially when it's only for a month or 2, so I'm asking if it's normal to easely achieve PR3, or I just got lucky somehow? :)

it depends on the amount of good back links you have, it could be easy if you have alot of higher pr back links

PR3 is fairly good for a site that new. With enough effort other people should be able to achieve results like that, but it depends on which strategies you use.

Well I did some directory submission, I made a contest, social network work, some socializing with other blogs, article submission etc.

Even haven't posted from a month!

The thing is, I barely see any backlinks with link:profitale.com, just about 20. I'm pretty sure I have more! :)

    Google never show all backlinks.

You would be better using yahoo site explorer to see your backlinks. That's updated daily.

This is quite possible by the way (page rank).

I registered a new domain around the 9th September, got 2 articles on there, did a bit of promotion work.

22 days later it's PR4 for the root, PR4 for an article, PR3 for the other article, and PR4 for one of the categories.

This is just a wordpress blog.

I have been testing this for a while, and the strategy works for any domain (new or old). I just proved it with the new domain.

22 days old and PR4. Yes I am happy.

I'm going to go shoot a video about it now.

    Cheers

Its not unusual for a new site to achieve PR2 or PR3, and looking at some of the back links you have i'm not too surprised.

The other factor which has made a difference would relate to the site being only a couple of months old. This would be its first Ranking Score as PR was updated last week.

The trick now would be holding on to the PR3 after the next PR update.

    Good Luck :)

Yes I must admit some of my links looked a bit screwed up when I checked earlier today.

Usually site explorer is great, so maybe re-check in a few hours.

    Cheers

Well i guess, it's normal... We get high PR with the number of our quality backlinks. My blog is just 1 month old and it get PR2. So... Just stay cool... Don't be shocked. But anyways, I want to congratulate you for that PR3.

It depends how much efforts you have done in first month. And if less efforts than you are lucky :p. It also depends on quality of work done.

I registered one at the beginning of September, it got 1xPR6, roughly 30xPR5 and who knows how many PR4/3/2 etc in 23 days.

Getting PR3 is normal, i have had that happen with just 1 backlink from a PR4 page.

upto PR4, its very easy. Infact bunch of 20 unique links should get you to PR4 easily but still congrats :) enjoy the feeling and work hard to focus on thing which matters more, like traffic and leads

    Best Wishes

i had same thing happen in last pr update of google i was also got PR3 from PR 0... i have not done any kind of link building for that but my blog is something like unique where i was posting daily something new and unique and also i had 400+ visitor within 1 month on my blog...

so i don't think so the link building is important to get PR... i think it matters on website reputation on the net...
