Is this a good template for a website

 

Depending on what your market is and what the site is for, any template can work just fine.

My 2 cents = It's a little dated or old style.

Yeah, I'd say it's old school, could use some work with colors and effects and stuff.

 

i'd have to say it is old style but definetely functional..
might try to round the corners and ad some cleaner pictures and such

 

Its nice. I have some free templates, you can take reviews of that templates.

 

Agreed^ It looks a bit too old, try getting something more *fresh*

 

Personally I'm not fussed, it looks very much like i'd expect a template to look and that in my book is never a good thing. I think it is the header more than anything that make me think that, if that helps at all.

 

i don't need too many dividing room, but may be you need it, that is OK.

if you get rid of the 1996 feel, sure, it would be ok.

 

I think it's nice and clean; however I do have reservations against the colors...

I do agree it is rather plain; you should at least look into using some gradients, even subtle gradients...

 

It's one of those designs you've seen a million times before. It will probably be function, but it won't blow anyone away.
