Ok, I know that here in the U.K. it means wives of footballers of something. But, on ValleyWAG, popular Silicon Valley blog http://valleywag.com/ what it means? Can it mean scoop/gossip? Question is related to domain names cause I'm interested to buy one domain name with WAG in it, and it's expensive so I'm just checking.
In the football context you're referring to, WAG stands for "Wives And Girlfriends". In the other context it's a verb referring to the process of loose talk, idle chit-chat or gossip, as in the phrase "tongues are wagging".
yeah, I'd go for Wives And Girlfriends, i think its just a play on words from this site, seeing as valley rymes with scally anyway.
