SEO beginner

    Hey, im new to this forum so hi :)

    Im quite new to seo. I was going to buy some SEO software then someone said if you just post your website in these forums you guys give some good advice :)

    SEO is best jobs for search engine optimazation such ass google, MSN, yahoo, etc.
    You should begin it follow step...
    -Content is king
    -Seo URL Friendly as: http://domain.com/page/Search-engine/ insteadhttp://domain.com/page?id=100
    But u need hosting support mod rewriten content .htaccess.
    -Get backlink from some site have high pagerank, you'll get more traffic from them easily.
    -Some time u should submit content on some site, post more good article, as social network.

    Hey amped66, welcome aboard :)

    Be wary about buying SEO software. Hang around these forums and get a feel for what is going on - you'll get all manner of views on SEO practice but there are some basic groundrules in SEO and some tricks that you will pick up in time.

    There's no silver bullet in SEO so don't expect overnight successes as some people do and, as funa says, be patient - Patience, knowledge, experience and a good brain are all you really need to be successful in the search arena.

    I will say one thing about your site though - all your ads/images seem to point to the same affiliate link... certainly something to be frowned upon from a usability point of vew...

    Don't buy SEO software without having an understanding on SEO. You will get caught to scams. First learn basics... probably from a book (SEOMoz guide that has been suggested by andyj00 is good).. then read SEO forums and blogs. Within about 3 months you will have a good understanding on dos and donts...
