Everybody claims they make a good pay with adsense within a short period of time on their proxies. But most of them end up getting banned from Google adsense. I'm planning to start my own proxy, but I don't want to risk my adsense account. Are there any Adsense alternatives or pay per click programs I can use instead? Pls let me know.

actually proxy sites are about the worst possible site to convert for contextual type advertising. Right up there with directorys
I agree with Shoemonet y and SedNax. for proxies the best ways to earn are CPM inpage and popup banners. You can see the list of some good CPM companies here. Also good idea is to combine two or three of CPM companies and having a banner rotator with Your proxy template, so that every user that is staying for example about 1 minute sees 3 different banners ( if the banner rotator is set up properly ) - that + lot of traffic can actually bring a lot of income
