    Hi

Please can you critic our website for both design and our "business message" [what we sell and do].

    http://www.airtimemanager.co.uk

The site is primarily aimed at business and heavy users of cell phones. It offers contract cell phones, blackberry devices, and specialist services at competitive prices.

That's the theory... but is the message clear or confused? Any criticism or suggestions would be very welcome.

    Many thanks

At a quick glance it looks nice except for the fact that the "Live Help Online" box is hovering over the top two links on the left so I am not able to see what those top two links say. For example the top link I can see says "Exchange Direct Push" but I can tell there are supposed to be two more above that... but instead I see the floating "Online" box. I'm guessing you are viewing the site on a different resolution so it looks fine to you on your screen but not to others. Remember you want people from ANY computer and using ANY resolution to be able to use 100% of your site. :)

Very nice and clear presentation of information - so design is good, hovering live help layer has already been mentioned - and I second the opinion there - fix it and merge it well with the background!

    Cheers

Your site looks corporate but you have to move the Live Help button to another position, since it's blocking two links in the left navigation bar. Decent site!

I agree with PY. The help box is in a fixed position no matter what screen rez/window size I use and it doesn't have a tab where it can be grabbed and dragged out of the way. If it could be moved or was integrated into the design somewhere, that would be better.

It's clean, it's tidy, organised, you've put effort into your on-page SEO and your img tags' alt attribs (I'd add title attribs for safety & for firefox image hovering) and it's not too cluttered.

The only thing I would ask is why should I go to you for a contract phone? What is it about you and your company that sets you apart from the other providers out there? Are you better value, do you cater for certain sizes or types of company, where are you testimonials or some case studies so that I can be assured of your service, know-how, commitment and experience/track record?

    Other than that, sterling job.

    Best of luck to you.

    Hi,

I'd sent a reply which you may not have seen as all my replies were deleted because of a (new boy's) error.

I played around with the page on my PC and the only suggestion I have for the 'hovering' box problem is try putting the "Click ....." coding under the link to the forum.

I'd be interested in hearing how it gets solved.

    Good luck.

While the overall design is sleek, corporate and clean, there are some minor issues that you should resolve.

    1. The live help button is way out of line. Either integrate it into the side menu or on the banner, but don't leave it floating like that. My first reaction was to think it was some kind of banner ad or that your CSS broke.

    2. The top banner (airtime manager talk unlimited) needs some work. The typography is lacking smoothing and looks amateur in comparison to the rest of the interface. This should take about a minute to fix.

    3. I'm having a hard time figuring out what the site is for exactly; I suggest you include a very brief overall in the header and/or page title for people who like to browse and glance.

    4. The three buttons under your logo didn't pre-load the hover images and it took me a while to figure out what they were for. This is nit-picking though.

    5. The Blackberry FAQ list does not bring you to the actual question when you click on one. Check your IDs to make sure they're correct.

The rest looks pretty good! Your pages are well laid out and it's pretty easy to navigate. The RSS button is too big for my tastes, but I've seen much worse. Good job!
