    Anybody knows of any Free Hard Drive Data Recovery Software?

    My Hard Drive Crashed I put it in a portable drive, but the XP cannot access it.

    BUT Maybe a paid one which is cracked.. or u cold buy a orignal one

    I've used getdataback from runtime.org and it was excellent. Not free, but you can run a diagnostic for free first to check if it'll do what you want before paying for it.

    It depends on how broken the harddisk really is ; is it still spinning? Anyway; I usually restore HD's with all free Linux tools; usually gets job done.You need to be quite techie for that, but works better than most other solutions I have seen.
