We had a huge influx of traffic this weekend and in the stats I'm seeing a ton of these 104.gmodules.com, 111.gmodules.com, 121.gmodules.com as sources of traffic. My guess is this is Google's way of serving cached results or something when there's a huge influx of searches for something specific? Any ideas???
Wow, not a single reply to this? It shows up in google analytics as a traffic source when you get a huge hit of traffic, like a pop story on digg or something.
gmodules are the bits you can add to your personlised google page - these kind of things - http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open There are digg modules - http://www.google.com/ig/directory?synd=open&q=digg&btnG=Search+Google+Gadgets and just general 'search' modules too.
