What is gmodules.com? And How is Google Using them?

We had a huge influx of traffic this weekend and in the stats I'm seeing a ton of these 104.gmodules.com, 111.gmodules.com, 121.gmodules.com as sources of traffic.

My guess is this is Google's way of serving cached results or something when there's a huge influx of searches for something specific?

    Any ideas???

Wow, not a single reply to this?

It shows up in google analytics as a traffic source when you get a huge hit of traffic, like a pop story on digg or something.

Awesome, that makes perfect sense that the source is showing as that then.

    Thanks for the answer!
