It's a normal and logc move from google, unbelievable the number of people that open a blogspot everday, copy some content and apply for adsense! They will protect publishers and advertisers.

Came up with a good site and then sign up :D

Oh...Sites that are created with Google Site Creator are called Google Sites
    Blogspot blogs are different.

You found that question inside Google Sites Help Section.
If you ever come across something like that in Blogspot Help Section,Ill agree they have changed the rules.

But now Blogspot blogs are safe

funny thing, yesterday I tried to create a url channel in my adsense for a blogspot blog and it said it wasn't allowed, I tought it was an error since i already have other blogspot blogs added. I tried today again and it still not working. The blogs show the ads thought.

The above question is related to Google Sites. It is also saying that current users will not be allowed to display Adsense.

Google sites are not the same as blogspots.

    Peace,

I tried adding a new channel under adsense and adding a blogspot blog.

It gave an error saying that no URL that has a google host can be supported. this includes blogspot.

The same day, I tried creating a new blog in blogger and was able to add an adsense widget.

So perhaps you can add adsense to a new blogger blog, but you just won't get paid.

I hope this is not the case. If google wants to eliminate adsense on blogspot to cut down on MFA sites, more power to them, but they should disable the adding of adsense blocks within the add gadget window, rather than collect non-shared revenue on the resulting clicks.

Also, does anyone know if this issue will affect blogger blogs that were setup before this policy?
