    Hi

For a long time I have some questions in my mind, is this allowed ore not ?

Need to mention that I have emailed few times to google team, but it looks like they are to occupied to answer to my stupid questions.

    Here are 2 examples.

First one, is adsense under title :

I have read about this also... http://adsense.blogspot.com/2008/03/another-look-at-optimizations.html

The secound one is adsense near images :

    I know about their post .... http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/12/ad-and-image-placement-policy.html

Respond here only if you`re using this ad placement for more than 3 months please.

    Thanks :)

Adsense ads are not allowed immediately (below or above) next to an image or besides (alongside) an image because it is misleading and you are prompting the visitors to click the ads because the visitors may think that the ad is related to the image and so is the case with ads immediately below a title where you are falsely thrusting the ads in the place of contents. Both are surefire ways to get a warning (if you are lucky) or altogether a ban :(

Ask Google themselves. Again, no answer you get in this forum is going to mean much since it is Google that has the banstick. Personally, I think you'd be violating TOS/Policies with both placements. (No I haven't had this going for 3 months or more, but that's because _I_ like my Adsense account)

Send an email to Google Adsense Team and ask THEM Then post the response here.

Can you please explain your rationale for this pronouncement? ie, Why do you think this setup is okay, what about the placement makes it escape the restrictions in the Policies?

the pic next to the ads is there strictly to promote clicking on the ads... it has nothing to do with the content on the page, so it's illegal.

it's foolish to ask for people with "3 months please", because all that means is that google hasn't found their tos violations.

try to use logic, o.k.? if you are making people click on ads that don't result in conversions for the advertiser, your site will be "smart priced", and the advertiser could blacklist it as well.

If the pics and ads text are some how seen that they are not related to easch other then it should be ok such as make a line/border between ads and pics

The one above the image looks okay, but it's really pushing it.
The advertisement alongside of the AdSense image is not okay at all.

If you're looking to make bank using AdSense, I have 3 suggestions for placement.

    1) Horizontal 4x Link units under your header.
    2) 336x280 ad block before posts.
    3) Then a wide skyscraper in your left sidebar navigation.

Obviously, no borders and no background color.

i'm pretty sure this is allowed, as long as it's not a graphic pic.

I dont see a problem with the first one I also have been using adsense under Headings for more then 2 years but google had not problem with it.

Well there is some controversy about the second one .Some say only small pics along the adblock are wrong while others have opinion that a big picture like the one shown in second website is ok.

BUt i think one can get the same results by using an Image only adblock instead of the picture.

With the ads being right under a title in the first one (I'm assuming that's what that green stuff is lol) there is a risk of having mislabeled ads.

As for the comment above about pics being alright if they're not graphics, there is not difference...is a graphic of a hand pointing to ads any worse than a picture of a hand pointing to the ads? Come on, think about what you're saying.

1- I read many times that the ads beside a pic is causing troubles (especialy if they are related).
2- I am currently using ads under titles since 2 months without any problems.

for the first one I think this is ok and it's good placement.

for the second ads, this sure break the google rules and surely mislead people.

    that's my opinions.
