How do you make a link in your signature on a forum so that the text is the link... for example "click here" would direct to "www.examplesite.com" It can't be that hard cause everyone is doing it. Please help. Cheers, Jacob
How this is relevant to this category is beyond me... User CP > Edit Signature > [ URL="http://www.examplesite.com"]Click Here[/URL ] * remove the spaces in the URL tag.
Yeah it works on this forum but on the other forum it says bb url code not allowed...but people are still doing it. +rep given nicangeli.
Which forum? Or do you know what script the forum is using (PHPBB etc). PM me if you don't want to publish that info here, I'll take a look for you.
that is right procedure written by nicangeli, some sites give you permission to publish your sig after 5 or 10 or 15 or more. thats why the sig are not shown or not allowed. thanks
It's really really really excruciatingly easy....... use BB code, if thats rejected use HTML, if your given a WYSIWYG Editor use the buttons provided! @_@ BB Code: [ URL="http://www.examplesite.com"]Click Here[/URL HTML: <a href="url">Text to be displayed</a> WYSIWYG Editor: http://www.alentus.com/hosted-applications/dnntour/images/Modules/Announcements/Description.jpg (its a picture)
