Host suspended website and won't respond! What can I do

    My first mistake was paying only 9.99 for web hosting, again you get what you pay for.

    However they claim I've exceeded my bandwidth for the month and suspended my website. It has remained suspended for over 6 months!!!!! Never once have they replied to any of my support tickets and e-mails.

    My question is, can I still save my data? It is a wordpress blog. I cannot access my Cpanel, FTP or anything

    The domain is www.pestcemetery.com

    Bandwidth is supposed to reset itself at the end of each month. Well thats the way us real hosts work it ;)

    I suppose you don't have any backups at all? But maybe you haven't updated much recently and you can salvage most of your posts as of Jan. 2008 here:

    Thanks to all I've contacted them, scoopy your post really helped The site got suspended shortly after that so thats almost all of the articles!!!!

    Rule of the thumb, I never buy web hosting from anyone here on digital point, and especially those who promise 99.9% up time. Most of them are resellers anyway, pretending they own the whole data center.

    Its better to spend a few more bucks and buy web hosting from reputable web hosting providers.

    how true. I do not even know why small timers want to get into hosting. it takes a lot of effort, and a lot of trouble, and if your down for 30 seconds, you've already lost 10 customers... :)

    Best bet is to call the company if you can reach them. I guess the important lesson here is to remember to back up often. Only use a quality host.
