Version 4.0 of My Site - Theme Made by Myself

Hey all.

So, just today I released version 4.0 of my site ForTheLose.org. I gotta say, I'm really likin' the theme myself, which is odd.

I usually hate any web templates I make, but I dunno, maybe I did something right with this one.

Anyway, how's about some feedback? Like the site? The design? The content?

The header cartoons I did not like because they lack details/expression.Rest of the page is truly good.

 

I personally like the header and love the menu, nice and clean. Great font used on the logo and nice colours too. I hope your site is as sucessful as it can be

 

The site looks good, the layout, the color scheme, and the page layout is excellent.

 

NICE! I'm not joking, but this is one of the best website design's I've seen on DP for a while. People seem to keep trying to fall into that "web 2.0" trap.

As for what needs to be changed, the actual part of your header that says "FORTHELOSE", doesn't seem to fit, although the ".ORG" does fit.

Since you have Flash animations, it wouln't hurt to include one somewhere - maybe even the header?

Thanks guys. Yeah, I experimented around with placing Flash .swf's around the site. Some in the header, some in the sidebar, some above posts. never turned out quite right. So until I think of something really good, I'll keep the layout flash-less.

 

i do like it, however i think there are a few too many links on the right side... maybe think about reducing the number of links.

utzjohn - I tried to organize it as well as I could. Pretty much everything in the sidebar needs to be there, at least, at the moment.
