    I am excited. I have a new site that was created on Aug, 6 2008 and I went from pr of 0/na to pr 2. I'm still not listed for my keywords, but this is very encouraging. Exactly the motivation I needed.

    So, yes, looks like pr is being updated for some sites.

    Not to sound ungrateful, but...

    WTF?

    New site that's only been indexed for 13 days with 2 backlinks went from "No Rank Asigned" to PR2.

    Maybe if I continue to do nothing to promote that site I'll get another PR bump next update.

    There is something called relevance and content. And the back links are related too..

    And don't forget the most important thing. Page rank gets more difficult to achieve as we go up. Going from PR 0 to PR 1 is very easy compared to going from PR 1 to PR 2....and so on. In order words, achieving higher PR gets exponentially more difficult.

    Hi ... PR for my sites and pages are all over the place, at the moment. Seems a phenomenon that's only a few hours old. All was stable when I checked about 9 hours ago. Congrats to those who run sites that increased. Such is life for those of us who seem to have suffered loses, minor or major.

    I have done a lot of link building for 1 of my site and expect it to be PR4-5, but it's only went from PR2 to PR3. Unhappy with the PR update
