I have on one page I have a vertical list of thumbnail Images. Now if I click on a thumbnail to go to the full image, then click BACK, it goes to the TOP of the page Is there a way to go back to the original thumbnail image I clicked on? Or to go to the middle of the page? Or to go to the bottom of the page? (A Simple way preferably!) thanks!
It the web site's design, add an anchor in front of each image like this: <img... /> for image 001, and on the second page (where you display the large image), put a link towards the first page (the one with all the images) like this: ... That should do the trick.
You could try setting a name attribute to each image. For example: Code (markup): ... then, on the full image page, you'd need a backlink to the gallery page like: Go back Code (markup): ... where #mypic1 (last bit in the url) would point to the exact location of the clicked image. Hope that helps!
if the link from thumbnail goes direct to the image (the url with extension .jpg or whatever) then nothing can be done. if the link goes to another web page which contains the full size image, then it can be done using the technique of
