anyone making more on referrals than ads?

This month i've been making 2x-3x more $$ in FF referrals than i do with regular Ad clicks.. i'm curious if this is common with anyone else, particularly other 'Tech' type sites ?

It depends on the site .... My site would not do much good with a firefox ref because most of my visitors prolly dont even know what FF is. A tech site would have a much better chance of getting FF ref.

Hey, Tearabite. You mentioned in another thread that you were "really pushing" Firefox. I hope you know that Firefox referrals are supposed to be treated as regular Adsense ads -- no incentives, no drawing undue attention to your button, etc. ;)

Yup, that's fine. It's like writing a review about Adsense, and having Adsense ads all over the place.

I have a few pages that talk about the advantages of Firefox, and how you need firefox to do this or do that. also, on some of the pages the referral button is framed with a background that is darker than the rest of the page, with text above it that quotes something from the page, like "..Firefox is safer than Internet Explorer.." - I sent AdSense support a screenshot of how it looks and a link to the page, and they responded that doing this was fine, as long as the text does NOT say "click here to download", or anything like that.

Keep in mind also that the entire subject of my site is 'tech' and 'internet safety' related, and several pages have instructions on doing things that are much better accomplished with firefox. This is the extent of my 'pushing' .

Hmm.. searching for "mozzila" (SIC), i came across several sites with pages that outright violate TOS.. arrow buttons pointing to the referral button, multiple referral buttons on the page,etc..

I dont do any of that..

i use to think Firefox is good then i started using it and then i realise that it uses to much memory and it crashes to much . i am also unable to watch my launch video in firefox. they should change the name to firefix as it needs to be fixed.
