Now Google revised their guidelines to say that they can now correctly handle crawling dynamic URLs. So no need to rewrite dynamic urls to static one.

    Any suggestions?

I would still rewrite urls though...it helps visitors and should help rankings on the other search engines.

I think Google is worried about amateurs trying to rewrite urls and ending up with a mess of broken links.

No need to write the dynamic url to static.
The Google is crawling all the dynamic url's, for this you place all your dynamic url's in static page (like a html sitemap) or mention in the XML sitemap and submit it to Google. It will crawl and index all of your dynamic pages and content.

    All the best.....

Rewriting URLs still make them look much nicer to human visitors. If for no other reason, it still seems to me that rewriting is the right thing to do :)

It is all about making your site accessible to the human visitor and this is what rewriting URLs accomplishes.

True. Static urls are more human centric than dynamic urls and easy to remeber. Plus you can make use of some of the keywords when rewriting urls. So all in all dynamic url rewriting still makes a lot more sense.
