First you need to sign up with a proven affiliate program like the one in my sig. You set up a blog and write a few posts setting yourself up as an expert on a certain niche. In my case its online investigations, Infidelity investigations, Cyber stalking investigations. You write about 10, 500 word articles and submit them to online article directories like ezinearticles. In the authors box you send the reader to your blog to solve their problem. In your blog posts you cleverly work in the links to your affiliate program as a solution to their problem giving the merchant a positive review. You have to ping your blog posts and bookmark to social networking sites like digg. Then you can find other affiliate programs and add those to your blog aslo, mabe some adsense. This is just an abriviation of how I teach and train my affiliates to make a nice living online. Of course there's a million other little tips and tricks but this is a basic start. You'll also need to submit to blog rollers, directories, make blog comments and build back links to your blog.
The most important thing is traffic so focuse on getting traffic with linkbuilding and then the income will come.
