Hi, I will happily part with $25 once if you can solve this problem of mine: Say, I am making a new post titled "Trial Post" in my wordpress blog at www.domain.com. The way my options are setup, this creates a post url of: http://www.domain.com/Trial-Post If I now upload an image into this post, say asdf.gif, a page is automatically created with the URL: http://www.domain.com/Trial-Post/asdfgif I do not want this page to be created. What do I do? Thanks Ajeet
Ok. I have got a bunch of requests for login and password for my blog. Naturally, that is a little scary to hand out. So, I am going one user at a time. The first one who solves the problem gets the $25. Thanks
Indeed, it's difficult to trust your site access details to someone you don't know, however I do not see a faster way of doing this and still keep the job worth considering for the money.
I think you must believe in a 156 iTrader user, is Ok if you don't trust with a 15 Itrader user but Clive has a lot of experience.. BTW, if you post links images from a site like imageshack, phoxster, uploadhouse?
Agreed. I just sent you the wp-admin. Would that do, or do you need ftp access too? Agreed. I have sent the details to Clive. I have seen his previous activity here on DP, and he does seem like a member with solid credibility and capability.
Thanks for trusting me the wp-admin access details to your site. After giving it a thought, I decided to investigate the problem further and it looks like you've stumbled upon a tiny wordpress bug. I know a fix for it, however it addresses the database tables, not the template or core files so I need to get to the db tables and work from there. Get in touch through an instant messenger so that we can go through the fixes faster from there. Update: Found a workaround fix not requiring access to the database.
