Hi IC_IC, Rand is an excellent guy and I visit his posts on a regular basis. He and I understand your concerns with regards any guarantee with search engine rankings. Many companies are out there to sail their clients down the river with too good to be true statements and sales ploys, so your concern is something that is understood by me and any person looking for an SEO. Search engines are volatile things for sure, and the rankings can change in a heartbeat if SEO is not carried out correctly. My work is based on a long term strategy that once top rankings are achieved they are guaranteed to stay there. No one can guarantee you number 1 rankings on Google not even me!!! and that's why I am not doing that. Instead I prefer a more cautious approach of top ten. Sure I have no problem filling in the "Blanks" as you say You asked how I guarantee my service. Well, if you do not see any top ten rankings in google for one of your competitive terms within 3-6 months then you get your money back. And no I don't mean an ultra long tail keyword term that could be ranked for blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back either. I'm talking of a term that has at least a million competitors for that term. You also asked who I worked for and the sites I have worked on. You will see that the number of competitors in google is just 14.7 million whereas if you go to Yahoo you will find more accurate competitor numbers of 408 million competitors for that term. Wesley
Just warning you, this is a long one There are several other things on your site that will prevent you from ranking well in the search engines as it is now. I'm not just talking about the content and the title etc. The task is to find keywords that are both highly targeted to your products and have a lot of searches. This is something that I can do for you, but this is only a very small peice of the pie. Do you know about LSI terms and the correct way to use them for ranking purposes? Google is fast becoming very technical and advanced and the majority of your competitors are advancing too, it's just not a case of getting a keyword and putting on the page a few times, and maybe getting some inbound links with that keyword, I wish it was, actually no I don't because then I'd be out of a job LSI is just a very small segment of the very detailed things that Google looks at nowadays. And the use of web analytics is critical to your campaigns. If you do not use web analytics you are already one step behind your competition. Web analytics is not only used for tracking were visitors are coming from, which is very handy by they way as you can focus more attention on the sources that produce it. But is is also useful for checking which keywords are bringing you traffic. If you have some term that your page isn't ranked for and it's showing up as brining your traffic, hey guess what, you can optimize your page for that term and improve the amount of traffic. Just a little tip for you. So, I cannot suggest enough the importance of a full seo campaign, especially in the ultra competitive markets. I would be able to carry out all work needed on the optimization onsite and offsite. Anyways, I hope you appreciate me being upfront here, because there's lot of bad SEO guys out there that are more than willing to take your money. I think you may still have a lot to learn how to play golf has an e/f of only 1.4% which means that anyone can rank top for the term with very little effort. The question is why would they want to when Google shows less than 500 searches/day for this term. - Michael
Michael, Thanks for your very.... errrmm, shall we say less than valid response. How to play golf for one, is very targeted for the products and services I am offering, two, 500 searches a day for one term is very impressive, and 3 the term is very competitive. And I do have things to learn, nobody knows everything in this industry, I'm always learning. But the fact is, I've been working as an SEO for some 6 years, and I sincerely doubt that you will know more than me.
