I am very interested in doing Affiliate Marketing...and I've read many articles but there is just so much information out there that it has left me totally confused!!!

Can anyone shed some light on how to get started? PMs ok if you'd like...

1. Apply to Affiliate Networks
2. Get accepted at Affiliate Network(s)
3. Talk to Affiliate Manager & Select An Offer
4. Build Landing Page for Offer
5. Drive traffic to Landing Page (Articles, Social Networking, PPC, etc..)
6. Test, Test, Test!

affiliate marketing is when the publisher gets commission on any sales they drive to the target page thats all, u need to try loads of different sites and test what works best on your site as they all do tend to say they are all the best.

 

PPC Coach is a great place to get started if you want to get on the fast track.

Well affiliate marketing could be broken down into two separate areas (at least!).

Are you going to be promoting products, say, on your website? Or are you trying to recruit affiliates to promote a product on your own website? Affiliate marketing is basically a large umbrella over a lot of money-making niches.

This will probably be an easy decision based on whether or not you already have a product.

The easiest way to being is to get yourself online and try out some basic affiliate programs. Once you have a site and some offers to promote then comes the tricky part- the traffic!

It will take some time but don't get discouraged. It's all about the learning process.

• Monitor your commissions and re-evaluate your affiliate program every three to six months. Are you generating revenue? Are there other programs that you should consider joining?

There's still one thing I'm struggling to understand. I keep hearing about driving traffic to your site and I see people talking about Google Adwords and things of the like. What exactly are these things and how do you "get people to your site"?

 

Start out with clickbank..its user friendly. Pick a product that has a high gravity and pays well. Go to godaddy or such place and register a domain to redirect link. Advertise via ppc,forums and articles.

 

Anybody know how to run PPC (excluding) Adwords ?

It will take about two to three months to get fully familiar with the terms and procedures. Just keep researching and take action while you are learning. You always have the ability to tweek and twist your ideas as need be.

i'm going to apply some goal setting and achievement methods here too.

If your out and about around town and for some reason you get a kick ass idea, write the dam thing down! Try it out as soon as you can, then track and review and tweek
