    Hi all,
    Can anyone help? How can I increase the traffic of my New wholesale link Directory? I do not have much budget. But I hope I can increase my site traffic to 50,000 people a day by the end of this year. Please help!!!:)

    50,000 a day for a directory would be very hard unless you had a lot of $$$$$$.

    Google did and they did it overnight more or less
    just depends on the type of info that is presented. or how
    it is presented. No One I know even uses DMOZ less just to submit a
    link there so Google will rate your site higher.

    Actually it took them four years... they started in 1997, officially launched it in 1998 and took quite a few years until 2001 that it became popular.

    This is a good challenge. You wrote that you are on budget. The result of getting traffic method that does not claim money, tipically yielded slowly. So, if you want faster result, you need to invest something, either money or time. Without budget I'd try the traffic swap.

    50k daily uniques... That's a good long term target. :)

    Just do basic linkbuilding - I'm lazy so I don't want to enumerate the methods, you can see it around here at DP - and do site promotion in social bookmarking sites. You'll rake in some people that can contribute to your target. But it might take you more years, unless you have enough money to JV with Google and Yahoo.
