.trailer extension

    i camed up with a trailers site , the extension of the link are .trailer


    like : http:/imtdb.com/year/watch/movie-name.trailer

    what u think about it ? good or bad extension name . will goole see me bad or the same

    the url will help that you have the keyword trailer, just dont use .htm or .html google recently advised not to rewrite to those when rewriting dynamic urls.

    I think it is a nice touch. Google shouldn't care what your filename extensions are....as long as they can read the page.

    Bluebonic: As to not rewriting dynamic urls to .htm or .html, where did you hear this from? How would Google even know if you rewrite to .html or not. Since it is done on the server, Google shouldn't be able to tell. I think it is probably a technique that Google is worried about and is trying to crack down on it without knowing how to find those pages themselves.

    Are you sure about that ? Because until know I heard people that html or htm is the best extension that you can use (for google)

    hmm , i dont think that google cares about my extensions as the bots crawl the site :)
