Hahaha. Its a small accomplishment, but its a start. I used to run a few big websites 2 years back that made me $100+/DAY with YPN, but I was silly and sold out all my main websites, and then YPN terminated my account. This $100 I just hit with Adsense marks the beginning of me working with Adsense and getting back into the web business. In my experience, I've found that hitting the simple $5-$10/day mark is the hardest part of making money online. Once you hit $10/day, its all upwards and optimization from there. So anyways, I just wanted to make this thread to mark this milestone in rekindling my web business (even though I let my company domain name expire!). Wish me luck, my next goal is $1000/month.
$100 per day must feel good especially when I am lucky to make $1 per day. Can you give me any tips on link building my sites are all built and refined but what worked for you to generate $100 per day ?
Thanks guys Its been so hard to make money lately, when I had YPN and had inbounds from Wired Magazine it was like stealing candy from babies at $1+ dollars/click. I was looking at my old revenue screenshots and was looking at like $123 days with less than 100 clicks...lol.
Sweet, how many sites is that from? About the sites you sold, I always wander why people sell sites that are making consistent income, yes you get a nice e-heap of cash into PayPal, but you'll get that much in the long run if you just keep the damn things!
wow congrats! seeing posts like this makes me think i'm not wasting my time on a pipe dream. i too was thinking of dumping a successful site of mine for quick cash but i'm starting to realize that sites with good traffic don't come that easy.
Nice work share with us all how you accomplished it , is it just the basic unique content and traffic party trick or was it something else?
For a second there i thought it was 100K a month. I started to get jealous...lol Keep up the good work, and I am sure that the $1000 is right around the corner.
Thanks again guys. I'm 19 years old right now, sold my main website when I was like 17 to buy a car and buy random crap and show off. Stupid mistake, but the offer I got was significantly over 10x monthly revenue so I took it. My success was so easy with my first website I thought I could replicate it, but after being banned by Yahoo I realized it wouldn't be so easy. My revenue is only from 2 websites, and one of them currently makes like $0.01/month. I'm barely spending any time/money on my sites. I found a great coder who works for $10/hour, so we work on a few things but thats about it. As far as building websites, my usual tactic is to buy turnkey websites and soup them up. The biggest part of the webmaster game, I've found, is time. I set up sites, get a few backlinks and promote a little, and wait. Having a real job helps with this, since I don't need to live off of any of the revenue I make, nor expect to ever make that much to live from. I'll be happy if I can make enough a month to pay for my lunch and cigarettes every day.
Why not contact Yahoo and ask for a new account or even start an account using the name of a family member (mother/ father...)
