    Hi All,

As seen from the google analytice to check the bounce rate of the site, i have noticed one thing which is not avoidable. The Analytics shows different data for the bounce rate. If i check the bounce rate for the date 20th Sep on 21 sep. It showed different data of what it is showing now for the same date. Every day the data for the same day changed. Might be there is some in Analytics code.....

    Kindly suggest.........

    Regards
    Times

Never had a issue like that but if the pattern persists, try using stat counter. It is equally good.

I never trust to the data of the last days - just check a bit and you will have valid data

If possible try to track the clicks with your own click system along with google analytics. You can check my software website. I can determine whether user really bounced back from the page using google analytics + my click tracker.

Hope I am not driving away from topic. If you can click tracks then you never need to depend on the google analytics or any other tool

Perhaps it only varies within a day or two of the targeted date. Maybe after that period the bounce rates stay fairly static. There is the slim chance that people went to your site and left the browser window open overnight or the browser crashed.

Some people like me leave other tabs opened for about 30 minutes and if i had to go down the building and talked to someone special. Sometimes it reaches 3 hours opened. ;D
