Will adsense warn me before banning me?

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by invisible121, Sep 21, 2008.

If ever my adsense embedded site is not suitable for adsense and google find out about it by reviewing my site, will they automatically ban me without warning? Or maybe will they warn first to remove the adsense ads on my site? Thanks...

usually they ban and then warn . but if you are in minor violation and have some compliance issue on your site, they give you chance to fix it

If your embedded site is not suitable for adsense, probably they will ban your site not your account, but again there is no rule regarding it.

Some times, Google give warning and most of the time, the ban people. If you are not sure if a site is suitable for adsense or not, then you can contact adsense support and ask them if your site is ok or not. This way you will be on the safe side.

well it depends if you are being honest.mean no invalid clicks ots fine.. i mean to say..

if our site in generating invalid clicks either clicking by yourself or repeated clicks fron same ip.. google will sure ban you.. but if your ads are inappropriate with google tos like say.. ads with no contents or ads in warez or illegal or adult content they might warn you first.. but it all depends on their mood..,

It depend on what you have done to violate their terms, if its minor they will send you an email explaining what you have done and give you a time frame to correct it, if you don't make the necessary changes they will ban/block the domain that has violated their TOS, if you repeat offend they will ban your whole account.

Oh ok, thanks for the reply guys. I just wonder why other community forums survive for years with Adsense on them even though they have a "Downloads" area inside their forum. That's like illegal right? Because most of the stuff they share are copyrighted. Thanks

it depends on the QA peep who will monitor your site. If recently that guy has a domestic problem or was late in Google due to morning traffic expect a murderous ban

google bans small publishers , they dont ban their premium or high profile publishers
that s the reason old websites arent banned for there violations
and that is what sucks about google !

Well I have one site with 20,000 unique visitors a day, do you think that site of mine is still under the small publisher category? :)

probably still class you as a small publisher unless your getting 20,000,000 page views a month you wont get to be a premium publisher.

sometimes they warn and offer to correct mistakes if they are not serious. For example they check and warn that there were some other ads in like-Adsense format. You have a chance to explain them that it was your mistake and you will correct it as soon as possible. If Adsense guys have a good mood they'll forgive you :)

I got a warning once, so they do tend to warn before they ban. It was an honest mistake and they saw that, but I mean it probably has a bit to do with your reputation too.
