Hello A true story with regards to Google Adsense.I have had a celebrity high heel and barefoot website now for 10 months. The content is not nude but lots of sexy pictures and most are high resolution.Until recently I was using Google Adsense and the first few months I was earning $0.60 per day. This rose to between $1.50 - $2.00 per day after 9 months.Crap money from a crap company who think that they own you and the internet.I always got on average 25 clicks per day, this never really changed after 9 months.I NEVER clicked on my ads nor did I get people to click on my ads.I had 1900 pages with Google Adsense on it and was working 15 hours per day and getting nowhere with Adsense. Then one day those Google idiots emailed me to say that my account had been disabled for invalid clicks.HA HA GOOGLE THATS A JOKE.The clicks were still the same so why did they ban me? I emailed them the next day to appeal.3 days later they email me to say that Iam still banned.Screw you Google and I started to use Black Label Ads which is Adbrite.Within 1 month I was earning as much as it took me to earn after 9 months with Google Adsense. Anyway within 1 day of using Adbrite my Google Adsense started to appear again on my web pages.I THOUGHT I WAS BANNED? THEY NEVER emailed me to say my account had been reinstated.TOO LATE GOOGLE. So boys and girls dont think there is only Google Adsense. There are many others to choose from.Google like to control you and one day YOUR GONE.Dont put all your eggs in one basket.LONG LIVE ADBRITE.THEY ROCK.
Well said. There are alternatives other than the adbrite and you can try that too and settle for the one that pays you more.
feet, even though not porn is a fetish. fetish is adult content. google doesn't take it to kindly when you put adsense on adult sites. if you would have been smart, you would have used the right network for the site and still have an adsense account for any mainstream sites you may have. it's a no brainer that an adult network would make you more then adsense. myself and others use multiple ad networks. i wouldn't want to get banned from adsense or any network, but should it happen,it's not going to hurt me bad.
It depends on different niche. Certain niche are better off using Adsense while others are better off using Adbrite. But one thing which you have said here is true is that never to put all your eggs in one basket. There are other possibilities as well using other advertising network.
It wouldn't hurt you? Do you do mostly adult? I agree with the rest of what you said, the right ad network for the right site. It would be clear that such a site as described the OP is totally out of line with Google's ToS.
adbrite isn't all that bad, but they pay very little and is recommended to get them when getting easily banned from google such as advertising for a warez site.
Thanks for replies.I still have my Adsense account and I do not have adult pictures on the site but Google advertisements for celebrity websites are pretty poor and very few people click on them. Now I use Adbrite,Ero,and AVN ads which are more relevant and people click on them.Adsense is cool for some websites but for celebrity they suck. However the point is Google ban many people for no reason and you should never trust or rely on them for an income. If you are banned dont worry there is LIFE after Adsense and if you have a celebrity website do yourself a good turn and change to Adbrite,Ero and AVN.Also heard that Adengage is very good. Thanks and good luck Steve
I am not nor ever was Adsense banned. I started toying with Adbrite years ago when Pud (f*ckedcompany.com fame) started it. It was so-so but the past 2 years it's really grown. I started adding Adbrite to more and more of my sites this year and now...my CPM and earnings are HIGHER with Adbrite. A trend that some have noticed is that it appears they Grandfather your account in. In other words the longer you have Adbrite on a site the more it pays. That could very well be a stop-measure against click fraud. Of course this turns off a lot of people experimenting with their service. I am very glad that I now make more on Adbrite because I know they won't just ban my account like Adsense might. There are too many stories of legit webmasters getting canned without reason. I am sure some are click-fraud but can they all be? Sites previously making less than a dollar a day on Adsense now make me $4-$7 per day on Adbrite and it's the same traffic. Explain that to me. Anyone here know what percentage Adsense keeps from ads? What? No replies? Oh that's right because we have no idea.
you're right about not putting all eggs in one busket. btw, hows your adbrite earnings compred to adsense?
