    In 5 months we got 800 members, 27000 posts for our new forum webcosmoForums.com

    And the best part is we ain't using any softwares, or fake accounts; we are 100% real.

    What you guys think of this stats for a new forum?

    Forums by itself come with lot of challenge in marketing, since there are way too many existing forums.

    From my experience I think creating a supportive and friendly environment, keeping the forum fresh with new content is the key for success. You can achieve these two using different techniques.

    Also giving away something is a great ticker as well. for example I have AdSense Revenue Sharing on the forum.

    well, its hardest to start them from root, after that it is rolling itself, especially if you have few members that write quality posts
