Pakistan Bombing and the Denial of a nation and president

over 50 people died and the damage from the blast is crazy.. Things are not looking great for Pakistan and its future

    http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/09/21/pakistan.islamabad.marriott.blast/index.html

anyways, 1 thing i think is wrong is that Pakistans president made an annoucement "These people are not Muslims" (check link above)

Now my problem is who has the right to say that a person is not what they say they are when defining them based on their spiritual cause and religious idenitiy? isnt it subjective

I could just as easily say "some towns in US that havent been educated and have never come into contact with modern civilizations are not christian because they do some backwards practices?" but they call themselves christian and for them those practices are based on their interpretation of the bible... so they have the right to call themselves christian...just a different section if anything

Likewise , if these terrorists in the bombing are calling themselves muslim and saying that they are doing this for islam and their interpretation of it...i think the fact that the president is saying this shit means he doesnt understand a secular or nation with various types of people and is in denial of the problem. You can wash the problem aside or try to change people interpretations if its that big of a threat...

just hating at the fact he is denying an issue rather than take this as an opportunity to confront it

Pakistan is a mess and the leaders are not really wanting to do much about it. And whenever they do try to go on the offensive they get criticized for doing so. Lose lose situation.

Who told you that Pakistan is a secular nation? It is an Islamic country. And above all, Hindus formed around 20% of the total population of Pakistan in 1947. Today, they are less than a 2%. The data speaks for itself.

What make you so sure for what you post?

He said he that terrorists are not Muslims that is correct.

Islam does'not allow to kill innocent peoples. And how can Muslims kill other Muslims in Mosque's? How can one Muslim kill another Muslim in Holy month of Ramadan at the time that peoples starts Iftar (after Fasting for whole day).

Those who are behind this is not Muslim.

I can only pity you if you don't know the answer for that. A week back, there was a series of blasts in Delhi. The culprits were Muslims. Didn't they operate during the holy month of Ramadan? Grow up man. Islamic terrorists, though they are Muslims by birth, don't give a rat's ass about your religious sentiments. They just want to kill people.

    not just that...

they do care about religious sentiments, but are really FUNDAMENTAL about them...

and thats why i call them FUNDIES

if they percieve that infidels(non-muslims) are 2nd class citizens and should be punished, THESE FUNDIES think they should be killed and actually put it as their duty to do so

many moderate muslims beilive in kafirs and infidels but will not kill them, they instead will just pray that allah saves them.

Pakistan's solution is to threaten the US for crossing its borders to hunt down and kill the very people that perpetrate such acts. Kudos to their new president. What a genius.

The conspicuous thing here is that those whoever are involved in the bombings or terrorists attacks associate themselves with either Islam or its God, Allah. If we come across home made videos of these terrorists before the attacks, in majority of the situations they confess to carry out the attacks in the name of Islam or due to the grace of Allah. Muslims should accept the fact, whether we call or not call them Muslims, they still belong to your religion.

These are the few spoiled potatoes who are slowly spreading their rot and odor throughout the whole Islamic community.

The Western Governments have tried to root out this evil as far as they could, but the problem arises when the terrorists are harbored by some extremist nations and communities. Pakistan says it is responsible for its own affairs within its borders, but they been unsuccessful in controlling the tribal regions and the terrorism across its borders. If the hot-spots and sanctuary for terrorists in the tribal regions are taken out, the world would have already won half of the war on terrorism.

If the more powerful Western countries are not given the mandate to hunt down the terrorists in their safe heavens, it becomes the duty of the Muslim people and the Islamic Nations to seek these cowards out; who are degrading the name of Islam in order to carry out their violent personal agendas.
