I have several domain names I would like to sell through domain name auctions. .com, .us and .me... Can anyone suggest please which is the most effective and user-friendly domain auction site? Do I have to move domain name to their name servers to use auction? Thanks for all your suggestions!
sedo auctions pool auctions tdnam tucows auctions even EBAY domain auctions those are the ones i can think of... good luck.
Thanks for reply! I was mostly wondeing which is the most "liberal" one. They all require credit card payment or credit card authorization before you can sell anything. I'm not greedy and don't mind paying them comissions, but only after I sold something OK... Seems I'll have to choose from these ones, as smaller ones im afraid will take forever to sell...
If you have domains at godaddy then you can use tdnam but the service is not free. Similarly namecheap offers a free domain sale service. Sites like sedo and moniker will give you maximum exposure. You can also try your luck on Ebay.
Sedo seems to be the best if the domain names are quality. if not ebay is a good choice as in sedo the minimum bit is around $60
Hi I have my domains listed on tdnam and sedo and Im not really getting many visits to the pages where they are listed. How much exposure do they get and is there a better place to list your for sale domains?
It largely depends on the names. If people are not likely to type in the same terms you are using for your domain, then you are not likely to get much traffic, unless of course they were previously used for something and have residual traffic. SEDO and TDNAM are good. DNForum, SitePoint, NamePros... For auctions, give BQB a try http://www.BQB.com .
