I see this word in some posts and don't know what it mean (you rent out your sig. Usually the going rate is around $1 per 100 posts per month per link)
Renting out signature space for advertising it's pretty common in this forum. Basically what you mention above is usually the rate buyers pay based on overall total posts.
Well for every 100 posts you make your sig is worth another $1. Btw those rates are old, it's less than half that now.
The price is far more less than that.. I saw so many people selling their Sig links with 1000+ posts for less than $5. It depends on the person and his needs.
it's rarely $1 for 100 posts these day. More like 50 to 60 cents per 100 posts and sometimes even less.
sounds like a lot of writing and typing for such a little bit of money. probably would do better spending your time making a blog and trying to make money using adsense or some other advertisement program.
I think there is no fixed rate for sig link, it all depends on how much the buyer is going to pay and how much the seller is willing to accept.
It depends on 1.) Your quality of posts 2.) The quantity of posts. You will rarely find one who satisfies both conditions. Buyers use different criteria to judge people- some just want quantity, and do not care about quality. Some insist that the person must be active in a particular forum ( more often than not the BST), or must have _ rep blocks or _ Itrader.
It depends on the buyers needs, if he needs people's signature immediately he buy's for 1$ =100 posts other wise the price goes down .
