I have to believe that G will absolutely ban that blog and give 0 relevance to those links. An obvious attempt to game...
I've seen this a number of times. What a collosal waste of a spammer's time. But hey, no harm done right? Thermo-1 will ensure nature will recover the wasted energy somehow. I'm glad to hear that this obvious spamming isn't helping. Running across these kinds of blogs is irrating, to say the least.
Considering that G owns blogger, they must be able to tell when someone has signed up for their blog with the purpose of Google bombing or spamming. We should watch that page and see what happens. I would be surprised if that little grey bar ever changes...
Well, that isn't exactly the best way to go about doing it, but If you start 100 blogs all on blogger, you're still going to be getting a hell of a lot of backlinks... But yeah, of course it works... Otherwise people wouldn't be doing it.
Well, It'll still work (I think) As G have been tweaking the dup content filters, it may not work that well anymore, but I can assure you, if you do it right, then it works...
Thats a good attempt for backlinks. It does not seem it worked though. It wud be fun to watch this site.
The site's only been online for 3 days... We'll see what happens... I bet he gets caught for dup content... If not, It should work well if you do it over hundreds of sites.
It works, but a lot more people will be doing it so ... you have to have some good sites support you in order to keep on ranking
i think if G wanted to, it wouldn't be hard to find a detectable pattern in these blog entries. i.e. 1 KW stuffed sentence, link, and repeat.
or someone who owns fat-burning-tips.com saw digitalpoint in their referal stats and is now a member :? Not sure why they'd give you a negative rep though - it's a decent backlink after all!!
Yep, I got neg rep too... Oh well, some people really need to calm down... I don't think I said anything terrible really...
Surely Google can see someone with 1 IP address did this and creates an unnatural amount of links to the same set of sites. Sooner rather than later they'll have this sorted if not already.
