SEO SEO SEO.......................Getting your traffic naturally from Google/Yahoo/MSN is what will keep you in for the long hall.....When I started I knew nothing.

When I say nothing I mean nothing. I didnt know what CPanel was more less how a site even worked. These forums are the best. Everything you need to learn and do are here.

Since this initial post I have busted into the xxx in a day which made me happy. Wife still bitches though cause Im on the computer always try to make it better.......LOL

I personally have a DREAM and a GOAL and she can either support me through it and enjoy the ride through all the hard work or get OFF the BUS.

exactly man, she would tel me the same stuff, till one day a nice check for $x,xxx came in the mail. then she had a nice smile on her face. the attitude has gotten a little better. but I have also been trying to do my part and give her more attention too. its hard though since this website business can be really time consuming

LOL - This is too funny - Before any funds came in - I was 'playing on the computer again'. Now, it's a little more understanding of why I'm sitting in front of this thing - but, as jeremy860 mentioned - I too am forcing myself away from this blackhole of wanting to do more and more , so I can spend more time with her.

 

Be careful there fellows, I too started being on the computer more and more, after awhile my wife started mentioning it, then she started complaining a little, the next thing I knew, she was seeing another man.

Our 10 year marriage was over....... I know the computer time wasn't all of the trouble, but it sure was a large part of it, them women seem to want us to pay all the attention to them when we are not at real 9-5 jobs someplace else.

 

I cannot say anything more that most of you guys have already said about Wife complaining about me spending time in front of my comp.
I am still learning to get traffic to my sites.
It certainly is time consuming.
However, its one time effort and from then on regular monitoring would be sufficietn.

Better plan: Make sure you and your spouse are on the same page, and understand each other when it comes to working. Communication is key here, but never let the computer "take over" your relationship.

You could also try to get your spouse to be a part of it if they are interested or have the time. I know a very kind couple that lives near me where the wife is a website designer, and recently, she has gotten the husband to help her out with certain tasks. It is pretty fun to be able to discuss my own skills and thoughts with both of them.

My own girlfriend does not too much about computers (and I do not mean to say that I am really in the right place to say I know a whole lot about relationships, as much as I might pretend to), but she and I have discussed how it is one of my joys in life, and my bills do depend on my revenue. She is alright with that.

And also, congrats for coming so close =) You'll get there eventually!

 

Argh, thats sad to hear bluegill. Anyway, i don't have a girlfriend now so i can go full force.

 

Busted through the mid-xxx today and still climbing. Ummmmmmm she is still complaining.....

I think she would be happier if I went out and got a 2nd job and was gone from the house.....LOL
