URL Masking

My domain is: http://jbrouwer.com and I want it to show jbrouwer.com at all times, no matter which page is opened. So it hides for example the /about.html part of my URL.

How can I achieve this? Registrar: godaddy.com, host: lacehost.com.

    Thanks in advance.

People used to do that back in the 90s by using frames.

Why do you want to do it?

IMHO, it looks very unprofessional when people do that, plus your site will be doomed in the search eingines. How do you expect the search engines to list your pages when you only have one URL?

There are very many good reasons as to why you do not see people doing that any more. It was always a bad idea.

You can do the same thing with Flash and JavaScript, as well as with frames. All are bad ideas if search engine rankings are important.

It also stops people from being able to bookmark your individual pages easily.

    I'm with TechEvangelist. It's a bad idea.
