I am new to DP but I see that there are A LOT of indians here, lots of people have indian name or username. Does DP do some special promotion in India?
I don't think so. It's just i think IT sector is very famous in India and also i think because of the currency conversion lol I USD= 46 INR(approx) zAp
There is nothing like that. I am also Indian but never found that Dp is providing any kind of special favor. In simple words DP id totally unbiased.
I am not saying DP is biased. All that i was reasoning out was why so there are so many Indians in DP, in other words.... What is that attracts so many indians to DP..... You getting my point rokinfuture?
Actually, English language is not common in China as it is in India(I guess, correct me if i am wrong ) I am not saying Chinese men don't know english at all but I haven't seen many Chinese people speaking or understanding English language. They prefer their own language ~~Chinese Maybe They have their own DP(translated in Chinese) Heehee
Actually in India, Language is different in every state. English is the connecting language. So, English is more popular in India than China.
Simply because Indian webmasters (and webmasters wannabe) just love DP...! And there's thousands of them.
It's a BRIC economies mate! Brazil => Russia => India => China BRIC = The new big players on the world economic stage The reason why there are far more Indians on here than the other three is that the English language is far more widely spoken in their country than in the others.
Yeah i noticed that too... India's webmasters must be a very wise bunch, because they sure do find themselves at the right place...
India is known for producing the TOP IT Professionals so there is no wonder if you see tons of people who are Superb in IT Field , many of them can be found on DP Board.

Not just on this forum but you can find Indians around the world at all places @zappy123 - Not because of higher exchange rate but Indians in IT sector since long-long time When exchange rate was around $1=38 INR DON.
Yupp you are correct DON. Also hugh populations and IT sector is nowadays the most hot sector in India and it is growing too speedy
Simply because the average indan salary is less then $1,000 a year, which with some work is very easily achievable on the internet. Why join the real world when you can start a few websites up and life off them.
Bingo... I dont have any problem with anyone and i dont care Where they are from BUT the truth is that one person tells another (Hey go to DP and start submitting directories or provide a cheap service and you make money) and they swarm like hornets. Heck you dont even need a website just make a thread in services and your in business PS... NO im not indian but have friends here (usa) and abroad and havent yet to do bad business so... laterz malcolm
