    I have no hard data to back this up, but I'm sure...

    You'll Make More $$$ On This Forum If You...

    Put up a real picture of yourself.

    Why?

    1. People will remember you easier
    2. People will trust you more
    3. People will associate you face with something or someone they recognize
    4. They may have the hots for you!!
    5. They will be able to pick you out at a seminar.

    and lots more.

    The internet is changing very fast, and those who are not afraid of transparency stand to make a lot more cash then those who are hiding behind the scenes and afraid to show their face.

    Anyhow, it's just my opinion. I could be wrong.
    What do you think?

    I'm working up the courage to do it though. Not that i'm a dog...(and i love dogs myself)...but the nerve to publicize your face...

    I was just creating an avatar with a picture of myself... Then I came across this post. I completely agree with you. People are more apt to trust somebody if they can physically see who they are dealing with. I encourage my clients to do the same. For example, I did a website for a doctor’s office and patients actually said by us providing pictures of the staff, it established more trust with them than sites with no staff pictures.; Great post.

    Personally I don't think that a picture of yourself makes you any more trustworthy, but I was thinking about this the other day and I thought that if you have a personal and unique avatar then you are more likely to be recognised, and therefore people will recognise your reputation :)
