User Registration / Management PHP script

Which is the best user registration and management script? Both free and paid are fine.

Features like ability to have custom fields (Like drop down, radio fields , text fields etc), captcha Protection during Registration, user confirmation and activation, edit / delete user in admin panel, User CP and permissions would be great.

Please recommend. Thanks in advance

 

A complex CAPTCHA system and an e-mail confirmation are more than enough.

 

What is your eventual goal for this?
Joomla and phpbb come with builtin registration etc, and you can add on top of that whatever content you wish to incorporate.

 

If you want scripts, most of the popular ones, free and paid (Joomla, Wordpress, phpBB, vBulletin, IPB) have complex protection built in or you can find mods/plugin/hacks to make them even better. It depend on what you need the script for.

This is what you get for shared hosting. This happens when there are too many connections at once.

I am thinking about getting a dedicated server, but my income is not really that good for such expense.
