I currently working for a client who wants to rank higher in google for some key phrases now all these phrases are local keywords so these sorts of results come up http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...ct=result&cd=1&q=day+nursery+carlisle&spell=1 does anyone have find this a problem? basically the top 8 positions are all gone due to google local biz search
If your client's physical address falls within that map, then you will be in it as well. First, add (on one line) in the footer, the complete address of their center. Do this on every page. Second, setup Webmaster Tools and go to local search. Third, then add the site to Google Local search. It will take ~ 2 months but it is worth it for local clients. And yes, it's getting old. Google is killing Organic Search.
