I just recently started my proxy network, my first attempt at using adsense, and I have so far had around 50 clicks. However what is wierd is that I have got around five or so 90 cent - $1 clicks, which I find bizarre for the proxy niche. Is this because I have a new site, new adsense account or what? Also because I use the word unblock a lot on my site I get usually one in five ads is a plumbing ad. Could that be the reason for the higher paying random clicks?
Probably because is new, i think the proxy traffic is not converting in general, they click "by mistake" not because are interested, then smartpricing comes.
Well several ads are shown and different ads have different click earnings. Some ads pay more some low that depends is never static. Keeps on fluctuating.
Thanks for the advice. As my account is new, I think it is just because my account is not smartpriced that I have the high clicks. What is the best way to slow down the smart pricing or to have it not be so dramatic? I am also wondering if all ad networks give you good rates at first? I chucked adbrite on adbrite last night to wake up to quite an unexpected bonus
Well it is not the ne account rather it must be the keywords which rather attain attention of certain ads. Google is somewhat behaving a little stranger these days sometime same clicks give you few cents and sometimes the gave you quite a few dollars on the very same Keywords and niches.
Yeah, Just had a similar day today where one channel got like $2 from 3 clicks, checked back later to find 14clicks and $3. As I don't want to make a new thread, could someone clarify what ads adbrite allows on the proxified page. I set up with full page, banner and text ads showing, and checked to find I made a decent amount from inlines with a very high CTR. Is this allowed on proxified pages? Also how do I get to show image banners only and not text, as my cpm is over 100 times higher for image than text ads
