$400 in AdSense this year; runs on auto-pilot; low BIN!

I've totally neglected this MySpace site yet it still earns consistent AdSense income. Traffic and income have dropped over time but seem to have leveled off at around 3000 unique visitors/month and $30/month from Google.

Traffic sources: Used to be more SE traffic. Site has slipped probably partly do to zero updates. Majority now comes from direct and bookmarks.

These are the refferring numbers for Sept:

Direct Address / Bookmark: 56%

Links from Search Engines: 38%

Other links: 6%

Who knows, if you were able to do some updates/seo work/or find link partners, things I have not done, you might see some good results.

Domain is several years old. Regged until: 2009-11-09 at hostdepartment.com - I'm not sure what they offer as far as transferring. Most places seem to do a free push to a free account but I don't know much about these guys. If it costs to move, that's on you. I'm sending an email to them now...

What are the terms of the partner links you have on your page? Are they month to month? Do they need to stay on the site for a certain duration of time?

 

Those were there when I bought the site more than a year ago. I don't think many - if any - link back to my site, so those that don't should go or the webmasters should be contacted saying "link me or I'm removing your link." Again, I've just been neglectful.

NONE of them are paid links and there is no obligation to any of them.
