    just to name a few. Could it be you have a vested interest in at least one of them?

    True. There are a lot of these sites out there and the competition is tough. But why do we need to even consider any of them? What are the benefits?

    Besides loading up your sidebar with the 'requisite' badge and some bit of javascript, what do these sites really give you in return? None of your readers care about these sites or the badges. They slow your site down and does nothing for traffic in the long run.
