    Hello,

I currently have Adsense Ads on my website and wanted to know if adding Affiliate Links from Commission Junction would be a violation of the TOS.

    Thanks for any input

There is a real danger in having aff links (text links, banners, etc.) on your site despite the assurance and the current format that they are alright.

You can never be sure that the format would not be changed in the future and no longer in compliance with the tos. It is ok if you have a 10-page website. What about 1000-page website? Do you have enough time to make the necessary changes within 2 days?

Please click "2 days". It is not an aff link but one of the most important posts that you should not ignored.

No there is no danger of using an affiliate banners in site with adsense as long as the ad format(speacially the text ad) of the affiliate ad don't match with adsense. Banner ads all look alike .. so nothing can be done for that but make sure that you keep a distance between these two ads. Like many sites who use both adsense and affiliate use this format : adsense ads at the top half of site and affiliate ads at the bottom half of the site. Generally top half ads gets good CTR so adsense is good there and bottom half ads gets less but user interested clicks so its good for affiliate leads/sales conversion.

No they won't the only thing that would violate the adsense site is if another contextual ad serving program was running on the same page as the adsense ads.

    Here is what Google says:

As ainmohd points out, it's up to you to be sure that the affiliate ads look different than the Adsense ads.

Of course you can have both of them on the same page since both use different from of advertising. Adsense is on PPC while affiliates is on banner promotion and program signup.

Thanks for putting something into discussion but please correct the path of url as it seems currently the page is not found..

May be its because of the reason the url is not properly hyperlinked

    Cheers
