My enthusiasm = Your enthusiasm....... How?

Have a website up and running. Put simply, promotes links to others' websites in a new and interesting manner.... randomly.

Question is: I'm ready to 'go to the next level' and to start putting the product about. Which are the best methods to get others feeling as enthusiastic as I am about the idea?

Please advise.... is it going to be social networking? PPC? Ad's on other's sites?

Have experience in internet, but not promotion side.

    Any advice greatly received

You could always mention that no site has priority over another.

I see the idea you have...but just displaying random sites on a page isn't really igniting my enthusiasm.

You need a hook. It is new and interesting...but no hook.

Maybe you could come up with a blog plug-in that will spread virally. People pay you to get their site in the system...you pay the bloggers/site owners for the clicks that are generated.

You need some way for people to think this is a cool thing. I can go to google and click the lucky button and get a site.

With the right twist, it could spread.

Other than that, I think a major press release would drive viral traffic to your site and might get you going. Just make sure to use a good press release service and maybe pay a professional to write it for you.

You could hide easter eggs in there, so that if people visit the site and watch for a while, something unexpected and cool happens.

Ask yourself, "What's in it for them?"

If you can't easily see the answer then you need to build something into it that will give them benefit.

Yes, put ads in others' sites. But first get others to critique them. Go from there...

I would suggest putting in a free tip to get their interest, too.
