Hi, I don't know what to do, or anything... Don't yell. Well, I'm going to be making my own site, but I don't know what for yet. I also want to make money. Is there any marketing method or anything I could do to do what I want? prefably no e-books. Please don't say ads. Thanks.
If not "ads" then only thing you could do is provide some kind of service for example design, coding, seo etc.
Don't start it unless you know what it's going to be about. In other words since it's your first, don't think about making money until you create the site.
Don't build a website or invest any money, spend some time around here to understand what you want to do and if you are able to do it. Meanwhile, open an AdSense Account, most likely you will need it. As soon as you understand what you are gonna do, you may apply for affiliate programs in order to monetize your business. But for now, all you need is to get to DP every day and read, read, read
You can't make money right away off of a brand new website, it has to get traffic first and get popular
Yeah, That's what I'm doing, and going to continue to do. Thanks for the replys, it doesnt matter anymore, maybe i'll post in a few days, weeks, maybe even months.
It is the $1,000,000 question. if anyone is really making big money, they are not likely to share the secrets. Best thing to do is to find successful webmasters and see what they are doing instead of asking on forums. There are tons of ways to make money but you really need to find a niche that will work for you and a system to make money built on your skill levels and knowledge.
A great Idea for a website is a membership site as you will earn you residual Income. Make sure to build the site around some thing that you will in enjoy building content for. Good luck
Lately when ever I have a site producing money, something goes wrong with the ads that make money or Get problems for the ad providers
You have a clean slate man. If you start right you might be in for a great ride. I make some money on my sites, but not nearly as much as I'd want and it took me years to get there, because I've been learning slowly and haven't been in quite the right mental mindset. But I'm fixing that now and I'm creating a sort of new beginning where I ask the basic questions, which might be helpful to you as well. The most basic questions for any aspiring entrepreneur seem to be these: 1. What type of business do you want to consider? This is simply about identifying what kind of business you really want to be in and write it down. For web publishing I've brought it down to the following: 1. Advertising (get as much traffic as possible and monetize it pay per click (PPC), pay per 1K impressions (CPM), text link ads (though there are some risks involved here which you gotta research, shouldn't be overdone) etc. 2. Affiliate (Refer buyers to somebody elses product or service for a percentage) 3. E-commerce (sell products or services directly or indirectly.. there are various kinds of e-commerce businesses you can do, from selling actual products directly via drop shipping or your own labor to selling t-shirts on cafepress.com ). What do people need or want that can be met by the types of businesses you would consider doing? This can literally be a billion dollar question. What do people want? It's hard enough to answer the question "What do I want?", let alone what other people want. However, if you know what you want then that's a great place to start in answering what others want. So the process that could work is this. Try to answer this: What do I want or need that other people want or need as well and which I'd be willing to work on? It's a perfect question because it starts with the one you're supposed to know best, yourself, and what you want or need and then makes you research whether other people share those same needs or wants. If they do, and not too many people are already working on filling that need or want, then you've got yourself a business opportunity. Then the last thing to answer is whether you actually have the motivation to tackle that need, the passion to do it. What do you want to offer? I've kinda described this question above, but it's just emphasizing the importance of doing what you'd really love to do, in addition to filling a need or desire by other people. Cheers and good luck to both of us!
