If you have a good design on a gen directory but no PR and good amount of links will the directory be able to sell up to 300$? Cause i know some peopel dont buy unless you have a PR but how much can a good design boost the price? -Michael
What most people are interested in is revenue. How much money have you made from this site? If the answer is nothing AND you have zero PR it will be hard to get the price you are after, unless someone thinks your design is worth 300 bucks. You might post the URL on this or other forums for an appraisal of your work.
So people look for revenue from directroies? I mean most rev is from paid links right? And those are very inconsistent, so how will they know if rev will still come? Im not looking for that much or anything im just wondering value of directories.
Yes, people generally want to buy sites with a history of revenue. Yes, most revenue from a directory will come from paid links. No, no one will ever know for sure if the income will still keep coming in but normally it will. And with proper promotion the incoming revenue should get even better. Now I have made a very general statement with, "What most people are interested in is revenue." As I also stated, if your site is well-designed, someone may feel that the design alone is worth the money.
