My first approval

Hi,
This sounds a little amateur, but I just got my first e-zine article approval, and it has been put up there. http://ezinearticles.com/?The-Importance-of-Grieving-at-Times-of-Sorrow&id=1461116

I just wanted to tell all the 'established' writers that it felt great, and I want to ask them how they felt when their first article got accepted on a reputed directory or when they got their first 'real' paying gigs

Seriously, congratulations!

 

I don't remember caring much about getting my first EZA article up. It was nice, but this was years ago and it was just part of my marketing push. I've got s-loads of articles on EZA and everywhere else.

Of course these days I get mad with waiting a few days for approval.

As with anything, it's always fun getting your first "whatever," because it proves you can do something.

 

Yup, it actually happened only when a client of mine asked me to do so. I just never got time to write an articles and submit to e-zine, but now, since it has happened, I would regularly write articles which I can submit to such directories

LOL! exactly, the 'waiting for the approval' part was probably the most encouraging part of getting it approved after all!

 

Well done with your article, it's great when it makes you feel like that. I felt great when I did my first paid blog posts since they are so easy and the money has started coming in, and at that time I wasn't thinking about any other ways to make money by writing so it was just a great bonus. Good luck writing more articles!

Congratulations! It is a fantastic feeling to get your first article published, so now you need to write more and more and more. But be warned! Writing can be addictive!

Congrats ! I'm sure it must feel wonderful to see your name published on a site as popular as Ezine. I have written many ghost articles for some of the writers there and they have taken the kudos for it. I'd rather see my article featured on a popular bloggers' site, but then thats my personal opinion. Good luck with your endeavors Jeewant

Congrats! I felt the same when I had my first article approved too. Just an advice, make sure that you submit to ezine first before submitting to any other article directory. Had some problems in the past when my account was blocked after my article appeared on my googlepages account using a different name.

 

Nothing amateur about it. Congratulations.

 

great to see that the ball is now rolling for you. Although ezine articles is the best in the busines. But for getting backlinks and some traffic don't just stop there also submit to;

I'd say congratulations. But I hope you're not one of those thousands or even millions of people posting at EZA who only manage to churn out sloads and sloads of badly-written and poorly-researched articles. If you're not, then double congrats to you.

It doesn't seem that hard to get approved, judging by the quality of some of the articles at Ezine.

IT is not hard for one to get approved at EZA- agreed, and after my first approval, my next 5 have been a cake walk. The only reason as to why I was excited about my first approval was that, well, first of all, it was my 'first', and secondly, the whole suspense behind getting it approved was killing me in reality

It's up to 16 and no improvement.

The first time doing something important is always exciting, even with things that later become mundane. I was just as excited when i made my first website, first online buck, first online purchase and so on.
