I recently took over Webmastertalk.co.uk (http://www.webmastertalk.co.uk) and we have given it a new logo and style

Any feedback would be appreciated :D

The layout and design is not bad but there is too much negative space
between the logo and the rest of the contents on the page, I think the
site would look better if you removed some of that space.

You mean the whitespace at the top?

That will be used for banners etc., but I didn't want to put them on there immediately

Yes there is a lot of dead space between the banner and the notices, also instead of having a subforum per line try to have them on the same line so its a bit more condensed. The latest posts feature at the bottom is pretty good, Maybe add a whos online now box like dp?

That's probably not too hard with some CSS .. I'll have to go poke around the templates a bit

If you're logged in you can see who is online - it's intentionally not available to guest viewers

    Ohh Ok good stuff :D
I will be using your forum in the future and hopefully it will be big one day :)
I also noticed that your not getting an awaful amount of posts so try and entice users into posting! Maybe offer a prize for the most amount of posts or something?

    The more the merrier
The site had been unattended for quite some time, so it had become a spamfest. I only took over a couple of weeks ago:

Ok Well Have you thought about paid forum posting? I know its very expensive but if you can afford to pay 20 people per day then hopefully people visiting might stick around and register :D
