    Hi, I have a new site that i didnt release yet, 2 days ago, google had indexed some of its pages, i checked today, there is nothing there. Does that mean the site is banned? and what can I do about it?

    Do you mean Google spidered a couple pages and did not index them yet or that you saw that they were indexed and they disappeared from the index?

    perform the following search on google

    "site:yoursitehere.com"

    If you see no results your website is no longer in the index. If you check back every week or so and it still doesn't appear I would conclude your site probably was banned.

    If it is a new site with a new domain name, then you are in the Google Sandbox. That is a 6 month delay on everything. DP has a section on this...

    there is no such thing as 6 months delay!!! it depends on site niche.

    as far as deindexing is concerned, check if any of these apply to you.

    De/re indexing is part of google and normally the pages pops up in no time. If they don't come than check at Google webmasters tool

    make sure your page title and meta tags are good to go, then start promoting your site on some directories. check your url on idk.in for banned/not.

    If its new then don't worry. It was out of the index. Increase the backlinks. It will solve the problem. I dnt think your website has been banned if it is a new website. But I am also not sure because any black hat seo technique will ban a website. Ok let me know, how old your website is?

    It always happen with new sites. Some times google operators and tools are not able to show proper info................

    It happened with me sometimes.................

    So i wud say just do wait, it wud fix by itself..................

    don't worry. Google don't bann. Google check some conditions if your site fit than no prob. Still your site is new. It is innocent. Google checks doorways pages, cloaking, duplication content, Hiddden links and black hat methodand some more. so don't fear. your site'll not ban.
